About the event

As a parent you'll know how important the internet is to children - they use it to learn, play, socialise and express themselves. It's a highly creative place of amazing opportunities. But the technology children use every day can seem a bit daunting and you might worry about the risks your child can face online - such as bullying, contact from strangers or the possibility of them seeing illegal or inappropriate content.

On Friday 9th November Mrs Phillips will be running a FREE online safety workshop for parents and carers in the school hall. Mrs Phillips is a CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection) Ambassador meaning she is able to deliver workshops to parents, carers, children and young people and train other professionals to do the same.

CEOP is part of the National Crime Agency and is committed to tackling the sexual exploitation and abuse of children both online and offline.

The workshop will start at 2:15 pm and will give you the opportunity to be educated on any recent developments related to online safety and there will also be the option to discuss any queries you have. There will be FREE refreshments and resources. You will also receive a certificate at the end of the session.

If you are interested in attending this workshop please sign and complete the form below or scan the QR to book online.

We look forward to seeing you there!
